Surat al-Mulk 3-4

ٱﻟَّﺬِﻯ 

yang

 

ﺧَﻠَﻖَ 

 menciptakan

ﺳَﺒْﻊَ 

 tujuh

ﺳَﻤَٰﻮَٰﺕٍ 

 langit

ﻃِﺒَﺎﻗًﺎ ۖ 

 berlapis-lapis

ﻣَّﺎ ﺗَﺮَﻯٰ 

 kamu tidak melihat

ﻓِﻰ ﺧَﻠْﻖِ 

 dalam/pada ciptaan

ٱﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤَٰﻦِ 

 Yang Maha Pemurah

ﻣِﻦ ﺗَﻔَٰﻮُﺕٍ ۖ 

 dari tidak seimbang

ﻓَﭑﺭْﺟِﻊِ 

 maka kembalilah

ٱﻟْﺒَﺼَﺮَ 

 pandangan

ﻫَﻞْ 

 apakah/adakah

ﺗَﺮَﻯٰ 

 kamu melihat

ﻣِﻦ ﻓُﻄُﻮﺭٍ

dari tidak teratur/seimbang (3)
 

Dia yang telah menciptakan tujuh langit bertingkat-tingkat; tidaklah akan kamu lihat pada penciptaan Yang Maha Pemurah itu sesuatu pun dari yang bertikaian. Maka ulanglah kembali penglihatan, adakah engkau lihat sesuatu yang janggal?

ﺛُﻢَّ 

kemudian

 

ٱﺭْﺟِﻊِ 

 kembalilah

ٱﻟْﺒَﺼَﺮَ 

 pandangan

ﻛَﺮَّﺗَﻴْﻦِ 

 dua kali ulang

ﻳَﻨﻘَﻠِﺐْ 

 berbalik/kembali

ﺇِﻟَﻴْﻚَ 

 kepadamu

ٱﻟْﺒَﺼَﺮُ 

 pandangan

ﺧَﺎﺳِﺌًﺎ 

 membingungkan

ﻭَﻫُﻮَ 

 dan ia

ﺣَﺴِﻴﺮٌ

payah/lemah (4)

 

Kemudian itu ulanglah kembali penglihatan kedua kalinya, niscaya akan kembalilah penglihatan dalam keadaan payah, dan dia akan mengeluh.

Surat al-Mulk 1-2

ﺗَﺒَٰﺮَﻙَ

Maha Suci

 

 ٱﻟَّﺬِﻯ

 yang

 ﺑِﻴَﺪِﻩِ 

 di tangan-Nya

ٱﻟْﻤُﻠْﻚُ 

kerajaan

 

ﻭَﻫُﻮَ 

dan Dia

 

ﻋَﻠَﻰٰ ﻛُﻞِّ 

atas segala

 

ﺷَﻰْءٍ 

sesuatu

 

ﻗَﺪِﻳﺮٌ

Maha Kuasa (1)

ٱﻟَّﺬِﻯ 

yang

 

ﺧَﻠَﻖَ 

menciptakan

 

ٱﻟْﻤَﻮْﺕَ 

kematian

 

ﻭَٱﻟْﺤَﻴَﻮٰﺓَ 

dan kehidupan

 

ﻟِﻴَﺒْﻠُﻮَﻛُﻢْ 

karena Dia akan menguji kamu

 

ﺃَﻳُّﻜُﻢْ 

siapa di antara kamu

 

ﺃَﺣْﺴَﻦُ 

lebih baik

 

ﻋَﻤَﻼً ۚ 

amal/perbuatan

 

ﻭَﻫُﻮَ 

dan Dia

 

ٱﻟْﻌَﺰِﻳﺰُ 

Maha Perkasa

 

ٱﻟْﻐَﻔُﻮﺭُ

Morning Recitation

Juwayriyah bint Al-Harith reported, the Mother of the Believers: The Prophet came out from my apartment in the morning as I was busy in performing the dawn prayer. He came back in the forenoon and found me sitting there. The Prophet said, "Are you still in the same position as I left you. I replied in the affirmative. Thereupon the Prophet said,

"I recited four words three times after I had left you. If these are to be weighed against all you have recited since morning, these will be heavier. These are:

Penghulu Istighfar

Allahumma anta Rabbii
        Ya Allah, Engkaulah Tuhanku.

Laa ilaaha illa anta
        Tidak ada tuhan yang berhak disembah selain Engkau.

Khalaqtani wa anaa 'abduka
        Engkau ciptakan diriku, dan aku menjadi hambaMu.

Wa anaa 'alaa 'ahdika
        Dan aku menjalani hidup atas bimbinganMu.

Wa wa'dika mas-tatho'tu
        Dan aku beribadah sekuat kemampuanku.

A'udzubika min syarri maa shona'tu
        Aku berlindung kepadaMu dari keburukan-keburukan segala yang aku lakukan.

Abuu'u laka bi ni'matika 'alayya
        Aku mengakui nikmat yang Engkau berikan kepadaku.

Wa abuu'u laka bi dzanbii
        Aku mengakui kepadaMu segala dosa-dosaku.

Fa-ghfirlii
        Maka ampunilah aku.

Fa innahu laa yaghfiru-dzunuuba illa anta
        Sesungguhnya tidak ada yang mengampuni dosa, selain Engkau.

Tentang Lunturnya Cinta

Tahukah kau, kenapa cintaku padamu tak pernah luntur?

The Art of Losing

I heard this poem years ago, when I saw a movie, which is I forget what title it has. There is a scene when the main role reading this poem to an elder person she takes care of. This poem was written by Elizabeth Bishop, originally titled One Art.

By posting this poem in my blog, I do not mean to break copyright stuffs or something, but to share it with you, the beauty of losing. And as a reminder, that everything we loved in this world, when the time comes, will be taken away. What will remain, is the beauty of sharing the events with whom we love.
